Our rates stay within the guideline of the NSSG, the Dutch guild of key and lock specialists. The Dutch consumer association uses this guideline too: opening a door during the day without a security strip should not cost more than € 125. Ours starts at € 87.

The price includes the work at your door and VAT. Within the municipality of Maastricht there is no call-out fee at all. In the Heuvelland, the call-out fee is from € 12,50. Parts such as a new cylinder or lock are added only if you need them, and only after you agree.
Like most locksmiths, we charge more outside normal hours. In the evening the price for opening a door starts at € 124. At night, at the weekend and on public holidays it starts at € 152. If your problem can wait until the morning, we say so on the phone.

Yes. The price we agree on the phone is the price for the work you describe. If we find that more is needed, for example a new cylinder because the old one is broken, we explain it and tell you the extra cost. We only do that work if you say yes.
At night, at the weekend and on public holidays we work outside normal hours. A surcharge of about 50 percent is normal in the Netherlands. Our night price starts at € 152. If the problem is not urgent, we will tell you that waiting until the morning saves you money.
Not within the municipality of Maastricht. In the Heuvelland, for example Meerssen, Valkenburg, Eijsden-Margraten, Gulpen-Wittem, Beek and Stein, the call-out fee is from € 12,50. We always mention it on the phone, so you know the total before we come.
It depends. If you lost your key, you usually pay yourself. If the lock is worn or broken, the landlord is often responsible. After a break-in, your home insurance may cover the repair. We give you a clear invoice that you can pass on. Ask your landlord first if you are not sure.
